Out of the suburbs of Los Angeles Zen Robbi broke onto the music scene in 2001, bent on bringing back intelligent music to the people.  Throughout southern California they have ripped the roof off of everywhere they have played (House of Blues, Hard Rock, El Rey, Viper Room, The Roxy), while recruiting a loyal fan base.  Zen Robbi's debut album, "Company," was tracked and produced at The Village Recorder in Westwood, California.  The album dropped in 2006 on Soul Surfer Records, and received significant acclaim from local and national media outlets.  The group is a classic power trio featuring a solid rhythmic assault, infectious grooves, and brilliant executive style and direction.  Now poised on delivering the next cult classic carving its way into the main stream, the new album "Pawn Gone King" will be destroying popular music everywhere, out now on Red Pecker Records.
